My own clothing design: clothes and folklore costumes with a historical touch
My own jewelery design: «The tide»
Photo, paintings, etc.
During my 18-year career as a clothing designer and seamstress, I had the opportunity to showcase my creations in numerous mannequin shows. These shows were held both at the fairs I attended, and in separate events through the 9 years I participated in both art and craft fairs. The attached picture features some of my most popular designs, which consistently garnered orders and drove sales, also thanks to many great reports in various magazines.
Whenever I participated in these shows, I naturally assumed the role of a mannequin. It felt like second nature to me, effortlessly bringing my creations to life on the runway.
During the catwalk shows and the entire process of production and showcasing, I was fortunate to have the support of both my family and my apprentice. They played a crucial role, assisting me not only on the runway but also with all the work that accompanied the production and presentation.
In larger mannequin shows, I also had the valuable assistance of other mannequins.
As a crowning achievement, I am deeply grateful to have included 3 of my folk costumes in the Bunad encyclopedia in 3 volumes.
